Cute little breakfast, lunch, and coffee shop. Tables outside. I love the dig at Starbucks on the back of the t-shirts "Friends don't let friends drink Starbucks". 😂

We just moved to Maplewood and ate here for the first time. They have so many vegan vegetarian options it’s freaking amazing!!! From French toast to vegan chorizo made from chickpeas!! We plan on coming here all the time. When my family from CA and Europe visit I can’t wait to bring them here. Food was so phenomenal. I got the Mexican burrito with vegan chorizo and potatoes spinach tomato’s in a spinach tortilla. Delicious!

This is my regular local shop. It’s so great to have a place like this in town. From the moment you walk in you are greeted warmly with smiles (and by name if you are a regular). The food is prepared to order and is fresh and delicious. I love this place for both breakfast and lunch. So may healthy options. Their menu includes both Indian and vegan offerings. Whether you are looking to pop in quickly for something to go or sit with your laptop while you eat breakfast or meet friends, this is the best spot. Such a local gem.

This place is amazing!
The food is perfectly cooked and seasoned. They provide big portions, so you will certainly take some food home.
The ambiance is relaxed.
The servers are all very attentive.
The coffee and hot chocolate are delicious.
I loved the shirts they were wearing....I attached a picture..."Friends don't let friends drink Starbucks." This was especially funny because there is a Starbucks up the street from them, haha
The prices are reasonable.
Despite them being so busy, the service was great.
The only thing I would mention is that there is only one bathroom...for employees and all customers (male/females)...so the line could get long and delayed...based on needs...this is a cozy family owned hidden gem, regardless.
Pardon our pictures of halfway eaten meals...We thought about pictures after!

This coffee shop is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the warm aroma of freshly ground beans and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile.
The coffee itself is exceptional. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to make recommendations.
Beyond the drinks, the pastry/food selection is fresh and thoughtfully curated. The baked goods pair beautifully with the coffee, and there are great options whether you’re in the mood for something indulgent or light.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the atmosphere. It’s the kind of spot where you can meet a friend, get some work done, or simply enjoy a quiet moment to yourself. The attention to detail — from the presentation of the drinks to the cleanliness of the space — makes the whole experience feel special.
If you’re looking for a coffee shop that delivers both quality and comfort, this is it. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be coming back.

Finally found my go-to spot in Maplewood! Village Coffee manages to feel both modern and incredibly cozy at the same time. I tried the Jamaican cold brew and the Spinach, Mushroom, and Onion Omelette—everything was super fresh and clearly made with high-quality ingredients.
It’s a huge win for vegetarians in the area; they have so many great options beyond just the basics. Their Veggie Breakfast Burrito is a local favorite for a reason, and if you have a sweet tooth, the Red Velvet Waffles are a total must-try. The staff is genuinely warm, which makes a huge difference. Definitely a gem on Maplewood Ave

Five stars for Village Coffee Shop! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The menu is extensive with so many delicious options, you’re guaranteed to find something you love. I recently had the #18 omelette, and it was amazing. The salmon platter is also really good, and I’ll never forget their toasted everything bagel with tomatoes and Swiss cheese, mmmm yumm!!! .
The coffee is always fresh and tasty, and they offer a wide variety of drinks. The food and service are definitely a plus. One of my favorite local spots — you must check it out!

Lovely breakfast spot in Maplewood with a great variety of options, including a dedicated vegan menu, which is always a big plus.
We tried the vanilla iced latte, which was smooth and nicely balanced, not overly sweet. The standout, though, was the organic masala tea with ginger - perfectly spiced with a strong ginger kick that made it incredibly comforting and flavorful.
The menu has plenty to choose from, whether you’re looking for classic breakfast items or vegan-friendly dishes. Definitely worth checking out!
